    Is Your County's Website Election-Ready?

Ensure your county's voters have the election information they need to cast their ballots with these recommendations from the League of Women Voters and the TAC County Information Resources Agency (TAC CIRA).

    • Provide sample ballots to help facilitate quick and effective voting.
    • Prominently and clearly post critical information, such as voter registration information, and polling locations and times, as well as contact information for the election office. Posting this information within a PDF makes it harder to find.
    • Link to votetexas.gov in English and Spanish.
    • Use simple and clear language to help voters easily navigate your site.
    • Provide voting information in other languages, in addition to English. Reference Section 203 of the Voting Rights Act, which mandates that voting information should be provided "in the language of the applicable minority group as well as in the English language."
    • Ensure the usability and accessibility of your website and the information you are providing. Learn more about website accessibility.
