Public Information Act and Records Management (Parts I & II)
The Public Information Act makes all "public information" open to the public unless the information is specifically excepted from disclosure by the Public Information Act or other law. In this session, attorneys Paul Miles and Drew Williams will discuss the public information act, the process for responding to PIA requests, records management considerations and other best practices for county officials.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a certificate of completion via email. Completion of parts 1 and 2 are required to receive CE credit. Submit this confirmation to the appropriate coordinating body for credit.
