Build What Matters
Our 2024 conference will focus on providing valuable information to support county government and aid commissioners courts in all they do for Texans. The conference will also highlight pertinent topics such as environmental issues, county investment policies and ESD's. In addition, this event will provide a great opportunity for you to get together with fellow county judges and commissioners from North and East Texas and from across the state.
The conference is crafted to include the latest information on hot topics in county government and advanced curriculum sessions. However, not all the learning will take place in the classroom. You may network with other officials during the sporting clay tournament, cornhole tournament or domino tournament on Wednesday afternoon. Other opportunities include the President's Welcome Reception on Monday and the Brazos County Host Court Night on Tuesday.
This year's early bird session, part of the County Administrative Trainings developed by the Texas Association of Counties and the V.G. Young Institute of County Government, will focus on county budgeting. It is designed to provide an in-depth and concentrated learning experience on the county budget.
