Open Meetings Act (Parts I & II)
When a group of people takes action or makes a decision, some meeting of the minds has occurred to make that action possible. With respect to actions taken by governmental bodies, it is the process by which this meeting of the minds occurs that the Open Meetings Act (OMA) intends to be open to public scrutiny. In this session, attorneys Laura V. Garcia and Drew Williams explore how the OMA impacts you and your county.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a certificate of completion via email. Submit this confirmation to the appropriate coordinating body for credit.
