"There's an old mobile home partially blocking a county road.  Besides being in the right of way, it's a real eyesore. Can the county remove it?"

Does the county have authority to remove personal property from a county road?

Transportation Code §545.3051 sets forth county law enforcement's express authority to remove abandoned manufactured homes or other personal property in the county roadway or right-of-way. The property may be removed without the consent of the owner, and the owner must reimburse the county for any reasonable cost of removal.
