The National Association of Counties is hosting a special event to help county leaders learn more about artificial intelligence. The NACo AI South Regional Forum will take place on May 6-7 at the Texas Association of Counties in Austin.

This event is open to county officials and information technology leaders. It will focus on how counties can use AI — including tools like generative AI — to work more efficiently, serve communities better and make smarter decisions.

Attendees will hear from experts, take part in hands-on sessions and have time to connect with others in local government. The forum will also cover current trends, real examples of AI in action and the challenges counties may face when using this technology.
