Texas Natural Gas Vehicle Grant Program (TNGVGP)
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has launched the Texas Natural Gas Vehicle Grant Program (TNGVGP), offering financial support for upgrading heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles to cleaner natural gas options. Eligible vehicles include heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles that operate on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG/Propane). Key requirements include operating vehicles at least 75% of the time within the Clean Transportation Zone for four years or 400,000 miles, and applicants must have owned the replaced vehicle in Texas for at least two years.
