Hazard Mitigation Grant Program: Post Fire Fiscal Year 2024
FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP)-Post Fire assistance helps communities implement hazard mitigation measures after wildfire disasters. Communities seeking funds must have a FEMA approved Hazard Mitigation Plan at the time the project is submitted to FEMA and at the time an award is made except for projects to develop or update mitigation plans. Funding is prioritized for a county or counties that received a Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) designation. Any eligible activity in FEMA’s 2023 HMA Guidance may be considered for funding.
