Miniature toy worker figurines working on a circuit "Our website had a glitch sometime after I posted the notice for next week's commissioners court meeting. One minute it was there and then somehow it just disappeared. I didn't notice until now, the day before the meeting! What do we do?"

Is the electronic posting of a meeting notice invalid if there were technical problems?

Along with the physical posting, counties must concurrently post notice of a meeting and the agenda for the meeting on the county's Internet website. An electronic notice that fails to comply with the requirements of Government Code §551.056 is still valid if the county makes a good faith attempt to comply and the failure is due to a technical problem beyond the commissioner court's control.
