    "The local primaries are coming up soon. Does the county have to train the election workers?"

    Is the county responsible for training election workers for the primary election?
    No. Under Election Code §32.113(a), the county executive committee of a political party is required to provide training for its election officials using the state's standardized training. For more information see our publication, Election Worker Issues.
