Rural EMS Survey Sent to County Judges
The County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas (CJCAT) has made seeking state funding to support ambulance services in rural counties a top legislative priority. In collaboration with the Texas Association of Counties, CJCAT is collecting data from counties to bolster its planned appropriations request during next year's 89th Legislature.
Surveys have been sent to selected county judges in counties with populations of 300,000 or less. Recipients are urged to answer the survey's questions regarding their county's ambulance services. The survey will close on Friday, Aug. 9. This two-week window is intended to provide recipients enough time to complete the survey.
