Port Infrastructure Development Program

Provides funding for eligible projects for the purpose of improving the safety, efficiency, or reliability of the movement of goods through ports and intermodal connections to ports.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity announces only the funding for FY 2024 provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation. Additional funding for FY 2024 may be appropriated by congress. Additional appropriations will be included in the final FY 2024 Notice of Funding Opportunity that will be published on or before Feb. 16, 2024.

Match Requirement: 20%
The Federal share of costs may exceed 80 percent for: (1) a grant for a project that is located in a rural area; or (2) a grant awarded to a small project at a small port under 46 U.S.C. 54301(b).
