Public Information Act and Records Management (Parts I & II)
The Public Information Act makes all "public information" open to the public unless the information is specifically excepted from disclosure by the Public Information Act or other law. In this session, attorneys Paul Miles and Laura Garcia discuss the public information act, the process for responding to PIA requests, and other best practices including records management.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a certificate of completion via email. Completion of parts 1 and 2 are required to receive CE credit. Submit this confirmation to the appropriate coordinating body for credit.
