
Bruce Barr joined the County Information Project as a G.I.S. analyst in February 2004. Prior to joining TAC, he worked for the Capital Area Planning Council. His areas of concentration included 9-1-1 data development, regional transportation planning, air quality monitoring, solid waste monitoring and Central Texas urban planning. At TAC, Barr coordinates most county G.I.S and flood management activities.
Barr earned a B.S. degree in geographical information systems and computer mapping from Texas State University and is a member of the Texas Geographic Information Council Steering Committee and the Texas Floodplain Management Association as a Certified Floodplain Manager.
