Aug. 3 marks the deadline for the 2012 County Expenditure Survey. The purpose of this survey is to identify trends and major cost drivers that significantly impact counties. This information can be particularly valuable when addressing county legislative concerns.
The TAC Legislative Department County Information Project (CIP) has set a goal to achieve a new participation level. For the past two years, the participation level has remained roughly the same. CIP would like to surpass last year’s participation level of 127 counties.
This year’s goal is for at least 150 counties, or more than 60 percent, to participate.
CIP would like to encourage each county to submit its survey on or before the Friday, Aug. 3 deadline. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
