HHSC to Host Webinars on Program Funding Mechanics and Protocol

The Program Funding and Mechanics (PFM) Protocol and the RHP Planning Protocol (DSRIP menu) serve as the basis for RHP Plan development. The PFM Protocol approval from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is expected very soon. The RHP Planning Protocol is expected to be finalized by mid-September. RHP Plans are due to HHSC no later than Oct. 31. 
 

The following information related to the PFM Protocol is on the website: the DSRIP Pass 1 hospital allocations, list of safety net hospitals, and minimum private hospital DSRIP funding by RHP to be eligible for Pass 2. Upon approval, the PFM protocol will be posted on the waiver website under “Tools and Guidelines for Regional Healthcare Partnership Participants.”

HHSC is hosting two webinars to provide information on these two protocols on Friday, Sept. 7:

RHP Planning Protocol Webinar from 10-11:30 a.m.:

PFM Protocol Webinar from 1:30-3 p.m.:

Participants can choose to log in online to view the slides and listen to the audio conference OR to call in only for the audio portion. Participants should dial in to the audio portion of the meeting 15 minutes prior to the start of the Webinar. They automatically will be connected to the meeting room and will hear music until the start of the webinar.
