HHSC Hosts Regional Healthcare Partnership Planning Summit in Austin

The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) hosted the Regional Healthcare Partnership Planning Summit Aug. 7-8 in Austin. The conference provided a chance for the Regional Health Partnerships (RHP) to gain a more detailed explanation of how the waiver process will work. 

According to an HHSC release, HHSC invited RHP participants and other stakeholders to assist them with the development of the RHP plans. The agenda included information on the Uncompensated Care Protocol and Requirements, the RHP Plan Template, the RHP Protocol (Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments (DSRIP) Menu) and the Program Funding and Mechanics Protocol.
