ERS-Rural Economy and Population. The USDA Economic Research Service’s State Fact sheets provide state level data on rural population, employment, income, farm characteristics, and farm financial indicators. The County Typology Codes classifies rural counties based on primary economic activity.

National Agriculture Library. This Web site provides access to NAL's extensive collection, numerous related links, and a gateway to its associated institutions.
 
Texas Agricultural Statistics Service. TASS publishes current and historic statistics on agricultural commodities and activities for the state of Texas.
 
USDA Economic Research Service. Provides access to numerous data sets, publications, and reports from ERS.
 
USDA-NASS, Statistical Bulletins. These bulletins contain final estimates, including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB), for five-year periods preceding the Census of Agriculture.
